Job Description:
The ePowertrain Simulation Engineer working in the ePowertrain NPI simulation team works closely with the ePowertrain component and sub-system teams (power-source, power electronics, motors, and controls) to simulate the ePowertrain system performance for a particular ePowertrain configuration.
This role will be responsible for executing ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and communicating results and/or learning.
This role will also work with the ePowertrain simulation team to document our core simulation processes and ensure that he/she follows these processes.
This role will help in developing new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability.
Job Duties

Executing ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and communicating results/learning from this simulation activity.

Education & Experience Required:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master’s degree in a focused area within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience
Will consider candidates with a PhD
Technical Skills
At least 5 years of experience performing 1D system simulation.
